Gillis Patent Law

 

John Gillis is a registered US patent attorney and a member of the Massachusetts Bar. 

 

John has over 12 years experience as an attorney in boutique IP law firms and in patent services companies. Prior to this, John spent 20 years as an engineer in software development, testing and hardware development as an employee and as a consultant across multiple industries and at companies of varied size. These industries included defense, telecommunications, data networking, cable data and video, and the companies included R&D, Fortune 500, small and start-up companies. His experience includes embedded software development, user interface design and development, semiconductor processing and digital hardware design and testing for signal processing systems.

John holds a B.S in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University, an M.S. in Computer Systems Engineering from Boston University and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.
